With the love and support of my family, I put myself through college at Columbus State, where I studied Paralegal Studies. While there, I was inducted into the Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa, elected Treasurer of the Student Paralegal Association, and graduated summa cum laude.
I began my legal career in the public sector with an internship at the Fairfield County Municipal Court. While I loved working with members of the public, after a year-and-a-half, I transitioned to the private sector and spent the majority of the next five years providing general litigation support in a mid-size law firm, including cases where a will or trust was being litigated. Eventually, this experience led me to focus on probate, where, for the next several years, I completed and filed court documents, paid the deceased person’s debts, distribution of property according to Ohio law, and I continued to support probate litigation. In short, I helped families navigate the stress of losing a loved one.
